How our 'Waiting Lists' work
Managing open-enrolment courses can be challenging, as a minimum number of participants is required to make each course viable.
Previously, we operated simple waiting lists where learners could register their interest. However, when courses became viable, or even when only one final place was needed to confirm delivery, responses were often non existent from those on the waiting lists.
To address this, we have adopted a new approach.
Waiting Lists
Courses without confirmed dates will continue to operate on a waiting list basis.
To join a waiting list you will be required to pay a fully refundable deposit.
Once a waiting list reaches viability, we will invite all interested learners to an online meeting to agree dates that work for the group.
There are a total number of spaces per course, and you will see the number of spaces left on the deposit window to give you an idea of how many others are likely waiting.
Whilst on a waiting list, your deposit is fully refundable and if at any point you
- Secure training elsewhere,
- The agreed dates do not suit,
- Your circumstances change, or
- You simply decide not to continue,
or any other reason...
your deposit will be fully refunded, no questions asked.
After dates are agreed, your place will be transferred to a scheduled course. Any remaining spaces (if any) will then be opened to general enrolment, at which point our Standard Course & Qualification Terms & Conditions will apply.
