Emergency Response Driving Coaching

Next Dates Europe/London
Add to calendar:
Emergency Response Ambulance Driving CPD Day

Gain the opportunity to refresh your Emergency Response Driving Skills with a group of CERAD Learners.

What this session is:

This session is an opportunity for you to observe and participate in an empty seat of a CERAD course where you will be able to refresh your knowledge and skills, receive coaching and opportunity to undertake some training drives with an assessor as an element of "practice".

This is an opportunity for those in voluntary or private ambulance service roles who have already achieved their CERAD (or legacy IHCD D1/D1)  and would like the support of an assessor and opportunity to see, ask questions, and participate in some emergency response driving activities.

We have a spare seat on a current CERAD course that we are offering to anyone wishing to have the opportunity to watch and learn from others, and the opportunity for some coached emergency response driving sessions as part of that group. You need to fit in with the group timings and location - this is an established course that has the flexibility of an empty seat.

The course starts and finishes out of Coleraine at 0900 to 1700; and YOU MUST:

  • Supply your regulated emergency response driving qualification which must be verifiable
  • Supply your Driving license AND Online Check Code
  • Prove you are still in an ambulance role.

What this session is not:

This session is not any type of "conversion", "re-qualification" etc that will give you a certificate or qualification to drive an emergency response vehicle, nor any type of CPD certificate.
