Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals

The Basic Life Support course is ideal for the likes of Dental and GP Surgeries, where for example the standards set by regulating bodies (i.e. GDC) specify that staff should refresh their skills annually and keep up to date with updates from the Resuscitation Council (UK)

The course gives a 2 hour overview and practical session on CPR, recovery position, and an introduction to AED (if you have one in the surgery) although the course is a refresher… the use of the AED is an overview, it is recommended that you undertake a full First Aid or AED course to understand the functions of an AED and operate the device safely.
