The UK’s Health & Safety Executive (HSE) strongly supports the formation of the Association of First Aiders (AoFA) and have excellent relations with the HSE.
The AoFA, founded in 2004, is the UK’s largest association supporting over 2,000 first aiders, first aid trainers and first aid training providers, and we are proud to be an active member of the Association.

The Federation of First Aid Training Organisations
The Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO) was formed to be a democratic and powerful voice, to bring the industry together and to promote high standards of training. They are recognised as a main consultative body by the HSE, and recognised as the only truly independent body within the first aid industry.
They provide clear, concise and impartial advice and information to both training organisations and employers, providing the latest up to date information within the first aid industry and immediate support on first aid and Health & Safety related issues.

The Association of Healthcare Trainers
The Association of Healthcare Trainers allows trainers, training providers, care providers, charitable trusts and professional bodies are able to demonstrate to existing and potential customers, staff members, regulating and inspecting bodies that the way they operate and conduct themselves with regard to training within the healthcare sector is in line with a code of ethics.
